Dear Madam, Dear Sir, I received my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 512GB Snapdragon cell phone from you in May 2021. Since a Samsung software update release May/June? 2021 I’ve found that my unlocked snapdragon Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 512GB has been experiencing significant focus issues on the main camera. It almost behaves like it already has a focus lock on something, and no attempts to focus on alternate subjects has any effect. There has been more than one software update since then, but the problem was not resolved. The current information on the phone: Model name: Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (Order ETOR17301282) Model Number: SMG9980, Serial Number: R5CR11HW7DB , Android Version 11. Android Security Patch Level Aug. 1, 2021 If I switch to the macro lens (0,6x) or the 10x telemode, it seems to focus, but not as well as when I received the phone in May (the pictures are not as crisp). In the normal mode (1x) and telemode (3x) the camera doesn’t autofocus at all and remains blurry. The blurriness is worst in normal mode (1x). I have reset the camera app, deleted the camera app cache and data, but to no avail. I wanted to delete the app an reinstall it, but that doesn’t seem to be possible. All permissions in the app have been allowed. I have tried it with the scene optimizer, auto HDR and Tracking auto-focus settings in both the “on” and “off” modes, but this also didn’t resolve the auto-focus issue. Do you have a suggestion on how I can resolve the issue? Thanking you in advance for your help! Sincerely Joseph Erkel |
